The sink is made form anti-microbial solid surface and has a deep bowl to minimize splashing. The offset drain prevents water from flowing directly into the drain and aerosolizing its contents.
The high side and back splashes help contain the water. The sink’s bowl and skirt are in one piece and has no seams. This prevents the accumulation of germs and bacteria in areas that are difficult to clean.
