Solidguard’s anti-microbial characteristics are throughout the solid surface material and is not merely a surface coating. The anti-microbial agent is added during the manufacturing and is thus present on the surface and on the inside of the shower pans. In other words even if the material gets scratched, it will keep its antimicrobial activities.
